Behind the Screen New

Short narrated tech explainers for people who have never looked under the hood. Each episode follows one everyday request from start to finish and shows what actually happens behind the screen, from how agents use tools over MCP and why AI makes things up, to what really happens to your data. New episodes keep coming.

Rumah Mak Yam

A Malay family in a Shah Alam terrace house and their family WhatsApp group: Mak Yam and her long voice notes, Irfan working from home, Aina the aspiring influencer, Abah who 👍 everything, and Oyen the cat. The first series with real voices, now remade in clay 3D.

About the voices: they're AI-generated (Microsoft Azure AI Speech, and Google Gemini from Ep 8) and still learning Manglish , so some words come out a bit off or stiff. We know, and we're working on it. Every scene has captions.

Collab special

Rumah Mak Yam × Alien Dev

Irfan's boss comes to dinner: four arms, antennae, a box of kuih in each hand. It's Zorp from Alien Dev, and on Friday night production goes down. Mak only says "Makan dulu."

The Movie

Kenduri, a family holiday with no signal, and Abah goes missing (3D, 14 min).

Kenapa Ya?

Short STEM animations for Malaysian primary pupils (Tahun 1–3, age 7–9). Now remade in 3D, each episode answers one "why?" question across science, simple maths, early engineering and computational thinking, ending with a picture quiz ("Teka dulu!") and a safe try-at-home activity. There's no real spoken language, only babble voices; key words are in Bahasa Melayu with a small English line, set to upbeat kompang and gamelan music mixed with animal and nature sounds. New episodes every week.

Now in 3D

The enhanced remake, and where new episodes land from here on.

Before: the original 2D series

The first ten episodes as they were first released, kept for comparison.

ALAMAK! Pak Leh New

Clay-3D comedy Shorts, 20 to 40 seconds each. Pak Leh, in his crooked songkok, is always sure of himself and always loses: a parking-spot chair war, a mamak order gone wrong, a durian in the lift. Malay dialogue with captions, voiced with Google Gemini text-to-speech; Ep 14 and 15 even try loghat utara and Terengganu.

HANTU New

Dark 3D films about Malay ghosts: Pontianak, Pocong, Toyol, Hantu Raya and Langsuir. Each is 77 seconds with no dialogue, just cries, whispers and ambience synthesized in code.

Scary, so viewer discretion is advised.
